Ingredients:

  • Wheat roti/maida roti
  • Butter
  • potato mixture - Boiled mashed potato , red chilli powder , chaat masala , salt and chill tadka
  • shredded cabbge
  • chopped onions , tomato and capsicum
  • Red chilli flakes
  • chaat masala and salt
  • cheese


For Frankie Sauce:

1 Tbsp Schezwan chutney
1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Tomato sauce

Recipe:


  • First roast the roti with butter on pan
  • Once the roti is crisp , add frankie sauce and spread it all over teh roti
  • Then add potato mixture , add all vegetables 
  • Sprinckle red chilli flakes , chaat masala and salt
  • Grate cheese

Spread over 3 days, Cakeology 2016 was the first show of its kind- bringing every day cake artists, sugar artists, bakers, chocolatiers, retail bakers, ​professional ​pastry chefs and foodies to celebrate the world of Baking and the Art of Cake Decorating. this exciting weekend had something for everyone. Baking a batch of chocolate brownies is simple enough, provided you follow the recipe to the T. But, what if you want to create a two-tiered wonder for your best friend's wedding? Cakeology, brings together cake artists from around the world to equip you with all the skills you need to go from home baker to pro baker. "The country's cake decorating industry has been witnessing drastic changes in the past few years. Home baking is a serious business now," says Farzana Gandhi, project and brand building consultant, Cakeology.
The second edition features artists like Alyson Reynolds (Scotland), Sachiko Windbiel (New York), Tina Scott Parashar (Dubai) and Bijay Thapa (New Delhi), who will hold 35 demos and six workshops for aspiring bakers.
Three special cakes will be on display this year. UK-based cake sculpture expert Rose Macefield will be making a life-size bride and groom wedding cake. The second is a life-size elephant by Samie J Ramachandran, whose 500kg London Bridge cake got plenty of eyeballs at an exhibition in Bengaluru. 

For the last one, London-based bakers and best friends Valeri Valeriano and Christina Ong of the multi-award winning Queen of Hearts Couture Cakes will create an entire English garden using nothing but buttercream.


How to make Eggless walnut banana bread | Banana Cake recipe | बिना अंडे केले का केक


Hi friends today we will learn how to prepare  banana walnut cake/bread. For the video recipe click on youtube channel link below:


Ingredients
3 riped bananas
3/4 th cup all purpose flour
3/4th cup wheat flour
1/2 cup powdereed sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
pinch of salt
handful of walnuts
1 tsp vanilla essence

Procedure

  1. First peel the banana skin and then cut them i small pieces , i have take over here 3 banana's which are fully ripe but not over ripe. 
  2. Mash the banana with fork and then using a hand whisk or electric whisk mix it well. Do not over blend.
  3.  To this banana mixture add wheat flour , all purpose flour and sugar. (I personally like this cake semi sweet so i have reduced the sweet quantity) , if you prefer sweet then you may add more. 
  4. Now mix it well using fork and then add oil , cinnamon , salt and baking soda ad baking powder. Mix it well. 
  5. Then use whisk to incorporate it well , do not over blend. Then add vanilla essence and mix it using fork and finally add chopped walnut to it. do not add excess walnut as it might give a bitter taste.
  6. Preheat the oven at 180 degree cel.
  7. Now lets grease the tin , add oil and dust it nicely with all purpose flour , as i want to prepare this as bundt cake i am using glass to get the desired shape, grease it same as tin and place it in center . 
  8. Place a heavy object in the glass to make it stay in center and spread the batter. 
  9. Do not worry about it sticking to glass. Just spread it well and even out with the spoon. 
  10. Now remove the heavy object placed and bake for 35 minutes at 180 degree cel.
  11. Now to cut it , let it cool completely , using knife score out the corners and then flip it over the plate.Cut a slice and enjoy.

Its really a delicious moist cake which fills entire house with amazing aroma , our banana walnut cake is done.

खमान ढोकला | khaman dhokla in pressure cooker | Without Eno | Gujarati snacks





Learn how to make Khaman Dhokla very similar to what you get in market infact much better and softer and delicious than store bought , an easy to make Gujarati snacks recipe

Khaman Dhokla is a savory steamed cake made from gram flour. Very soft, porous, mildly tangy-sweet and a great snack that can be served at any time of the day.

Ingredients:

2 cups gram flour
Salt to taste
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp Haldi

Asafoetida (hing) 1/2 tsp
1 TBSP lemon juice


Tadka:
Oil 1 tsp
1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
3-4 Chillies

3-4 curry leaves
1 cup water
1 TBSP sugar

Coriander leaves and Grated Coconut

Method:

- Take a bowl and add the gram flour, turmeri, asafoetida, salt and lemon juice
- Whisk everything well add water making sure there are no lumps left and the batter is smooth in texture.
- Let the batter soak for atleast 30 minutes. 
- menwhile prepare the tin by greasing it with oil and prepare cooker by filling it with sufficinet water and place an empty bowl.

- After 30 minutes add baking soda and baking powder and mix well and immdiatly transfer the batter in the greased tin and keep in cooker and let it steam for 15 minutes (without nozzle) \-6 minutes. 
- Separate the dhokla from the tin by using a knife. 
- Overturn the dhokla on a plate. Overturn it again.
- Heat the oil in a pot. 
- Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds, curry leaves and chillis, curry leaves water and sugar. Let the water boil for one minute. 
- Add the coriander leaves and grated coconut for garnishing
- Spread this mixture over the dhokla. Cut the dhoklas into small squares and it's ready to serve.

Steamed Modak Recipe | 2 Different Fillings - Ganesh Chaturthi Special | Ukdiche Modak



Steamed Modak or most commonly known as Ukdiche Modak are special sweet dumplings which are offered to Lord Ganesha. So on this special and auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, make his favourite sweet at home with two different fillings. Ingredients
Rice covering 
3 cups rice flour 
3 cups water 
1/4 tsp Salt 
1tbsp ghee 


Traditional filling 
1 tbsp ghee
3 cups Grated fresh coconut 
1.5 cups grated jaggery
1 tsp elaichi powder 

Coconut Chocolate 
1 cup roasted dry grated coconut 
1/2 cup semisweet/milk chocolate 
1/4 tsp cardamon powder

Method
- In a saucepan add water, salt and ghee and let the water start bubbling.
- Add rice flour in it and lower the flame, make sure you mix it properly and there are no lumps.
- Turn off the flame and cover it for 3-5 minutes.

For Traditional filling
- In a pan add ghee, grated coconut,cardamom powder and jaggery and turn on the flame.
- Mix the ingredients properly
- When the mixture dries down, turn off the flame and let it cook down to room temperature.

For Coconut Chocolate Filling
- In a bowl add grated roasted dry coconut , cardamom powder and semi sweet/milk chocolate and mix it properly. The filling is ready.

For Modak
-Take the dough in another bowl and knead it into a soft dough.
- Cover the dough with a plastic wrap or damp cloth.
- Take little ball of dough to start making the modak.
- Apply some water to your fingers while making the modak.
- Scoop in some filling into the modak
- Squeeze the sides and bring the ends together and close it by pressing the top. 

Steaming Modaks
- Add some water into a cooker
- Now place the empty bowl and place another bowl top of empty bowl and place modaks and cover it with a lid without nozzle.
- Let the modak steam for 10-15 minutes on low flame.

Steamed modak are ready to be served.

Healthy potato chips in just 7 minutes | Microwave chips | Baked not fried | 1 TBSP oil potato chips




Hi friends welcome back to the channel , today we will learn how to make healthy potato chips in microwave in just 7 minutes.  Super delicious and super crispy. If you are new to this channel , please subscribe  to watch my weekly videos.




Ingredients:


  • Potato
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and red chilli powder


Procedure


  1. Good quality potatoes and wash them nicely to remove all dirt as we will be making chips with potato skin which is again healthy. 
  2. Now using peeler adjust it to thinnest size possible and slice the potatoes. 
  3. Now take room temperature tap water and add ice cubes to it. immerse the sliced potatoes in it so that we remove starch and make it crispy. Leave it for 2-3 minutes. 
  4. After 3 minutes remove the sliced potato on kitchen tissue paper to dry out the water and tap using paper towel to completely dry the sliced potatoes.
  5. Now take a parchment paper and place the sliced potatoes , don’t overlap sliced potatoes. Brush olive oil on one side and then flip the potato and brush other side nicely. 
  6. Now keep the parchment paper alongwith sliced potatoes in microwave for 6 minutes. Once you see the chips are getting slightly brown flip it over and again microwave for a minutes or less . 
  7. Let them cool and remove it in a bowl. Add salt as per taste and red chilli powder and shake it nicely. 


Crispy and delicious healthy baked potato chips are ready to enjoy with evening tea.
